Who We Are
ValuFinders, Inc., the parent company of AppraiserConnect, was founded in 1999 to provide an array of real-estate valuation products, including automated valuation models (AVM’s) property inspections, real estate appraisals, rental surveys and online tracking products.

Government Services
ValuFinders performed Special Property Inspections for HUD in Southern CA from 1999 to 2004 performing 1,200 to 1,500 monthly inspections. To facilitate these inspections, the company developed appraiserConnect.com, a web-based system that allows the inspectors to complete the inspection form on-line, and deliver it to HUD on-line. This web-based system is mission-critical to the U.S. Dept. of Housing and Urban Development’s management of its real estate owned REO (foreclosed) properties nationwide.

System Features Include:

Recently, ValuFinders was awarded HUD contracts to perform Asset Control Area (ACA) Inspections in the States of Utah and Texas. ACA properties are government properties that are in need of repairs that are sold to non-profit corporations and municipalities with the understanding that they will be rehabilitated and sold to low and moderate-income families. ValuFinders employees inspect the properties to insure that they have been properly repaired and rehabilitated according to specifications.

In 2006 ValuFinders was awarded an SBA contract to process Home and Business Loan applications arising from natural and man-made disasters. The extensive damages caused by Hurricanes Katrina, Wilma and Rita in the Gulf Coast states generated over 400,000 loan applications to the SBA. For the first time in its history, the SBA turned to the private sector for assistance in processing and closing these loans. Value Finders was 1 of 3 companies awarded such a contract.

Business Services
In mid-2005 ValuFinders launched the CONCIERGE service. While serving our clients, we realized that the traditional appraisal tracking and delivery process was bogging down the mortgage lending process, resulting in extended turnaround times and reduced profitability. CONCIERGE was created in order to streamline the appraisal management process, allowing the broker or lender to focus on getting new business and the appraiser to spend more time in the field.
